Default Modifying WAD - Patching the BILINEAR VIDEO mode (aka removing the blur filter)

    Gentlemen,

I come from the Xbox scene, place where this have been posible
several times in the past. So I wonder...

Is there a way to patch, hack, modify, change WADs like
Contra Rebirth, Gradius Rebirth, Castlevania Rebirth,
MegaMan 9 and MegaMan 10 to get rid of the bilinear
video mode? The image is sooooooo blurry.

For the emulation guys ths is a very common thing...
But it could be wonderful to have such a way to change
this video mode in those great games.

Bilinear filtering is just a hardware feature that is
called from within the game core. It must be a way
    to turn it off...

    Any ideas?

Any links to forums, people or place who could help
    on such a request?

    Thanks for your attention!
    BS.

Deep into that darkness peering long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting...

I would give a kidney to be able to nix that filter!
